The Family Chantel lead Chantel Everett reveals how she plans to make a living after her divorce with 90 Day Fiancé fame husband Pedro Jimeno.
Popular 90 Day Fiancé star Chantel Everett from The Family Chantel shared some juicy details about her job while she deals with a divorce from her estranged husband Pedro Jimeno. Atlanta woman Chantel became a household name after her reality TV debut in 90 Day Fiancé season 4. Chantel met Pedro through a mutual friend in the Dominican Republic. Chantel was looking to learn Spanish while Pedro wanted to learn English. It was love at first sight for Chantel who then brought Pedro to the U.S. on the K-1 visa before getting married.
In December 2019, Chantel finally finished her college degree. She told her fans that she was finally a nursing school graduate. Chantel was in nursing school even before joining 90 Day Fiancé. Despite the hectic filming schedule and later continuing her reality TV stint with The Family Chantel, Chantel was able to make time for her studies. 90 Day Fiancé fans remember Chantel throwing a fun-filled graduation party at an Atlanta nightclub that Pedro seemingly did not attend. He was unsupportive of Chantel supposedly making below $45,000 as her starting salary.
Chantel started working as a pediatric nurse but had expressed her wish of becoming a neurology nurse in a hospital which would double her salary. In a new Q&A session with her fans on Instagram, Chantel was asked how her job was going. “What specialty did you get into?” the TLC viewer wanted to know from Chantel. She revealed that she’s currently doing “renal med surg and Neuro med surg.” But what Chantel is really interested in doing now is aesthetics. Chantel wanting to pursue a career as an aesthetic or cosmetic nurse is interesting, as she’s often accused of changing her appearance with plastic surgery.
Regardless, Chantel, who’s busy vacationing with her friends in Jamaica, currently made time to chat with her fans about what life has been like for her amidst her shocking divorce news. A fan asked what makes Chantel “strong,” especially after everything that she’s gone through. As per Chantel, the secret to her Zen-like attitude towards life is “being grateful and practicing mindfulness.” Chantel likes the find reasons to smile, and of course, there are special friendships that help her find a balance among the chaos she’s been dealing with. Chantel also praised Jamaican food, which she feels is a whole new world of yummy. 90 Day Fiancé‘s Chantel’s next trip would, however, be somewhere in the U.S. itself.
Pedro calling Chantel “lazy,” even though she works back-to-back 12-hour shifts as a nurse, irked The Family Chantel viewers. They noted how Pedro expected Chantel to do the cooking and cleaning at home while he would be out, possibly cheating on her. They feel Pedro made zero efforts in the relationship when Chantel was busy saving lives, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. She had, after all, graduated after 12 years at college, and in a world where reality TV stars find an easy way out by launching OnlyFans accounts or doing Cameos, this 90 Day Fiancé cast member Chantel is working hard to fulfill her dreams.
