Throughout the years, Sister Wives fans have noticed that Kody Brown’s multiple relationships were not going to make it to the finish line.
It wasn’t hard for Sister Wives followers to start tracking the demise of Kody Brown’s multiple marriages since he often gave up working on them. The father of 18 has never been able to shoulder the blame for his faults, instead pointing his finger at others. But as fans know, when you point one finger, there are three pointing back at you.
As many Sister Wives followers would assume, taking care of four spouses would be difficult. Not only was Kody expected to be everywhere at once, but the patriarch should have been splitting his time equally instead of choosing favorites. Instead of seeing a problem and fixing it, the husband of Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown would often sweep his or their issues under the rug and hope they would magically disappear. Sadly, Kody’s dream of being in charge of the kingdom hasn’t worked out exactly how he thought it would.
Signs Kody Brown Was In Trouble
In September 2010, TLC viewers were introduced to the first-ever polygamous family, the Browns. Until then, there had never been a family willing enough to be open about their life. During the first episode, Kody, who deserved to lose his wives, revealed that at the young age of 20, he felt the calling to live a polygamist lifestyle by following the Apostolic United Brethren. The first cracks came when Kody decided that three wives were not enough, and he made the unpopular decision to court his younger wife, Robyn.
Kody Brown Waved Numerous Red Flags
The favoritism quickly became a central issue between Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn. Sister Wives fans still can’t forget how it became apparent that Robyn was special to Kody. During Sister Wives season 1, Christine was in labor with their sixth child, Truely, but instead of being by her side, TLC cameras caught Kody getting cozy with Robyn. Fans took notice when Kody also revealed that during a confessional, he helped pick out Robyn’s wedding dress, which was unheard of by his religious sect.
Sadly, it seems Kody is only partially aware of the strain he caused during his first three marriages. As his children have aged, they also have noticed how the Sister Wives star has ignored them in favor of his children with Robyn. Kody also had a pattern of ditching his children during times of need. Kody wasn’t around when Truely was sick in the hospital, and he refused to attend Ysabel’s back surgery. Now that he is down to only one wife, Kody has a lot to think about, but most fans believe he is okay with how everything turned out as Kody’s now living with his favorite wife Robyn.
